Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our vein seeker technology

How does the vein seeker work?

Our vein seeker uses advanced infrared technology to project vein images onto the skin surface. Near-infrared light is absorbed differently by blood than surrounding tissues, allowing for clear vein visualization. The device operates at a safe 8mm wavelength with ±0.5mm accuracy.

Is it safe for patients?

Yes, completely safe! The vein seeker uses infrared light technology without any nuclear radiation. It's FDA-approved for clinical use and safe for patients of all ages, including children and newborns.

What skin tones does it work with?

The device features 7 different color modes specifically designed to work with various skin tones, from light to dark skin. The adjustable brightness levels (5 settings) ensure optimal visibility regardless of skin color or lighting conditions.

How long does the battery last?

The device features a powerful 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery that provides extended use throughout the day. The battery charges in 4-5 hours and can last for a full shift of regular use.

How accurate is the vein detection?

The device provides ±0.5mm accuracy for vein position and resolution. The best imaging distance is 25-35cm from the skin surface, ensuring precise vein location for IV access.

Who can use this device?

This device is designed for medical professionals including nurses, doctors, EMTs, paramedics, phlebotomists, and other healthcare workers who perform IV access or venipuncture procedures. It's also suitable for home healthcare providers.
